About us
We come from retail. That is why we built Pulster.
For years, we made expansion and market decisions without the data we needed.
Why Pulster exists
Many retail chains in the region make decisions based on averages. Without a clear view of what is happening around each store, it is hard to know where to act first. And a market study takes months to arrive.
Pulster exists so that every decision, store by store, is backed by data.
How the team came together
Three paths that came together
Roberto and Gustavo studied together at university. Years later, Gustavo worked with Danilo at Walmart, where he built the team that analyzed competitors to decide where to open stores. Pulster brings those three backgrounds together: building products, analyzing data, and leading expansion for major retail chains. 70+ years of combined experience.

Roberto Rodríguez
CEO and co-founder
Strategist and new-product developer with 15+ years of experience. Led categories at Ferco, launched financial products and built the customer experience team at BAM, and founded Pulpey, a market research company.

Danilo Manzanares
CSO and co-founder
Multinational executive with 40+ years of experience. Became McDonald's youngest general manager worldwide at 27, in Costa Rica; served as commercial and real estate director at Walmart Central America, and turned KFC Dominican Republic from losses to profit in 12 months.

Gustavo Sáenz
CDO and co-founder
Economist and statistician with 15+ years of experience. At Walmart, he built the competitor analysis team that supported store expansion decisions. Previously worked on economic models at CIEN and in consulting at PwC.

Our guiding star
For centuries, travelers have used the North Star to find their way. That is what we want to be for our clients: a clear reference point for deciding where to grow.
How do we do it? By connecting the dots. Information is scattered: census data, businesses, mobility, competitors. We bring it together and take you step by step to the decision. That is why our symbol is a set of connected dots.
Pulster helps companies find direction by connecting the information behind better decisions.
